This series explores the compression of time and space unified by perspective. Individual images are created by condensing the progression along an uninterrupted path through space. More specifically, the alleys of various residential neighborhoods serve as a carefully un-staged backdrop for documenting utilitarian spaces in an honest condition. Serving primarilly as infrastructure corridors, alleys hold an opportunity to explore spaces of concentrated function without distraction. Inspired by the scientific work of Frances Galton I was drawn to this experiment in an effort to capture the collective emotion of the alley; a space free of adornment and rarely observed.
